Mission: 

 

Bruce’s Homecare is a non-skilled Homecare agency/Personal Assistance Service (PAS). Our Mission is to separate ourselves from the typical homecare company by first and foremost treating the clients like we want our family to be treated. Not just billable hours like most companies. That is with skills, knowledge and compassion.  We want to be a memory care specialist that actually provides memory care that engages clients with dementia/Alzheimer related conditions. We welcome clients of all levels of care and will treat them with the same level of excellence.

Vision

 

Our compassionate approach is that we want to engage our clients and not just observe and provide ADL’s therefore documenting assigned engagement activities such as puzzles, music listening, crocheting and more activities that will be geared towards the client’s care plan.  We want to change the standard of care for clients by actually encouraging activities that helps maintain residual skills and promote self esteem.

Goal:

 

We will mandate, monitor and oversee all of our caregivers to make sure they have the necessary skills to provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). We will have caregivers who are knowledgeable of Dementia care and they will receive specialized training using the Gem Brain Change Model which uses key approaches to care of Dementia clients based on their dementia level on the gem chart.  We understand that not all dementia care should be treated the same and that is what will differentiate our care from our competitors and make everyday living for our clients better.
